UAE Joins Alliance to Promote Sustainable Biofuels

UAE Energy Minister Suhail Mazrouei announced today, Wednesday, that the country "has joined the Global Biofuels Alliance." He added, "The UAE is heavily investing in biofuels as part of its efforts to diversify its energy mix and reduce its carbon footprint." Mazrouei announced the UAE's membership in the Global Biofuels Alliance, which was founded by India, the United Kingdom, and the United States to develop and enhance the use of biofuels.
