The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants announced in a statement that "due to a limited number of Lebanese not being able to join the evacuation convoy from Khartoum organized early last Sunday, it will exceptionally and only once arrange for the evacuation of those remaining Lebanese, if the field conditions permit, either tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, or Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the latest. It is noted that the final date for this planned trip is dependent on the possibility of securing a transport bus, the security situation on the ground, and the safety of the route."
The statement requested Lebanese wishing to leave to "be present before this date at the Rotana Hotel - Khartoum, where the convoy will depart," taking into account that field conditions may not allow for the organization of another evacuation process after the completion of the planned second operation.
