Following reports about the intention of the First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Wassim Mansouri, to announce his resignation on Monday while continuing to manage affairs, a source close to him denied any intention to resign, stating that he "is heading towards announcing a work program for the transitional phase leading up to the appointment of a new governor." The information indicated that the First Deputy Governor will continue to manage the operations of the "Sayrafa" platform for at least three months. Mansouri is scheduled to hold a press conference at the Central Bank building at 11:00 AM on Monday.
