A source from Ukrainian intelligence told Reuters that "Ukraine has destroyed a Russian air defense system near the town of Yevpatoria in the annexed Crimean Peninsula, in a nighttime attack using drones and missiles carried out by the Ukrainian Security Service and naval forces on Thursday." Russia had stated that its air defenses shot down 11 attacking drones during the night over Crimea, which it seized and annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
