Ukrainian Energy Minister: Confident in Maintaining Electricity This Winter

Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko expressed "confidence that the country can meet its electricity generation needs during the upcoming cold months." This statement came as a comment from the minister yesterday, Saturday, regarding what he described as the largest campaign to reform the electricity systems in modern Ukrainian history. He added that "he cannot provide details at the moment, but the country is increasing its electricity generation through methods it has not previously used."
