Sudden Disruption in Fuel Supplies at Al-Zour Refinery in Kuwait Leads to Near-Complete Production Halt

The Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPC) announced today, Sunday, that the Al-Zour refinery experienced a sudden disruption in fuel gas supplies due to a malfunction in one of the main valves, resulting in a near-complete halt of production operations. The company stated in a release that technical teams at the refinery have begun working to gradually restart operations, and "it is expected that the restart process will take approximately ten days to return to the previous production capacity."
