Closure of Schools and Universities Announced Following Mourning Declaration

The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halabi, announced the closure of schools, secondary schools, institutes, and both public and private vocational schools, as well as the Lebanese University and private universities across all Lebanese territories, tomorrow, Wednesday. This decision was made in condemnation of the massacre perpetrated by Israel in the bombing of the Baptist hospital in Palestine, which exceeded all expectations. Halabi stated that "this crime is a stain on the conscience of humanity and the silent countries in the face of the annihilation of a people, and the burning and killing of patients and the innocent, even in their sickbeds."
