Lebanese security forces arrested a young man promoting drugs in the area of Minieh, North Lebanon, on his motorcycle, targeting a significant segment of Lebanese youth who have fallen victim to major networks. According to the statement, "As a result of daily field and intelligence efforts conducted by the Internal Security Forces units to uncover those involved in drug trafficking and promoting operations, and to pursue and arrest them, the Information Branch succeeded in identifying a promoter active in the Minieh area, named A. A. (born in 1987, Lebanese). After precise surveillance, one of the branch's patrols managed to arrest him caught in the act while promoting drugs in Minieh, on a motorcycle that was seized. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, 16 packets of heroin, a mobile phone, and a sum of money were confiscated." During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding the promotion of drugs to several clients in the mentioned area, stating that he promotes on behalf of an individual in Tripoli in exchange for receiving a quantity of drugs for personal use.
