Saudi Arabia presented its file for "Riyadh Expo 2030" to the International Exhibitions Bureau in Paris today, Tuesday. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, the CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, stated that the kingdom plans to complete the venue for hosting Expo 2030 ahead of schedule. He added, "By 2028, all preparations for hosting Expo 2030 will be ready, and we plan to host over 120 million visitors in 2030."
Al-Sultan highlighted that the Expo site will rely on clean energy and be environmentally considerate. In his speech, Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih mentioned that hosting the Expo aligns with the limitless investment environment in Saudi Arabia. Regarding the budget allocated for hosting the event, Al-Falih stated it amounts to $7.8 billion.
