The British health website "bhf" revealed simple methods that can be followed to reduce sugar intake and protect the body from obesity and diseases. The report mentioned that "one can skip a teaspoon of sugar each day, reminding oneself that the drink still contains sugar, which means that over three months, about 1500 calories can be saved by completely abstaining from that teaspoon of sugar."

The second method involves "replacing sugary cereals at breakfast with sugar-free oatmeal, and fresh fruits such as bananas, berries, or grapes can be added for sweetness. This means approximately 3344 calories can be saved in 30 months."

The third method relies on "low-fat or fat-free yogurt, which does not contain high calories, but flavored fruit yogurts can be rich in sugar and calories. Consuming plain yogurt without additives provides nutritional calcium, saving about 5616 calories over three months, equivalent to about 351 teaspoons of sugar."
