America Strongly Condemns Suicide Bombing in Pakistan

U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller stated today, Tuesday, that the United States strongly condemns "in the strongest terms" the suicide bombing that took place in Pakistan on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of dozens. Miller expressed in a press briefing that "no country should face such acts of terrorism." A Pakistani government official mentioned today that the death toll from the attack, which targeted a political gathering of a radical religious group, has risen to 56.
