Turkish citizens sacrificed more than 3 million heads of sheep and goats during this year's Eid al-Adha. Nihat Cilek, the head of the Union of Sheep and Goat Breeders in Turkey, noted the significant demand among Turkish citizens this year for purchasing sacrificial animals, particularly small livestock such as sheep and goats. He mentioned that "the final number of sacrifices this year has not been determined yet, but it has exceeded 3 million sacrifices."
