Title: Attempt to Smuggle Syrians into Lebanon Foiled in Ra's Baalbek

The Lebanese army thwarted an attempt last night, Monday, at the station checkpoint in Ra's Baalbek, to smuggle around 30 individuals of Syrian nationality into Lebanon from areas in northern Syria. They were hiding inside the cargo box of a truck loaded with plastic sheets. They have been handed over to the relevant authorities, according to "Al-Jadeed." The army also arrested the smugglers who were trying to sneak them into Lebanon through illegal smuggling routes.
