Biden Promises to Establish a New Global System in the Middle East

U.S. President Joe Biden asserted that humanity needs a new global system, and that Americans will be able to build it "if they have enough courage and self-confidence." Biden stated, "I believe we have the opportunity, if we are bold enough and confident enough, to unite the world as never before." He added, "We have spent 50 years in the post-war period where (the United States) has done very well; we need a new global system." Biden also noted that uniting humanity on new terms "will expand the horizons of peace, and will not diminish them." He mentioned that "the United States and its partners are working towards a better future for the Middle East," indicating that this will benefit both the region and the United States.
