A representative from the National Health Commission of China, Mi Feng, revealed in a press conference today that "no new infectious diseases have been found so far during investigations concerning cases of respiratory illnesses." China is witnessing an increase in respiratory disease cases as the country prepares for its first full winter season since lifting strict COVID-19 restrictions in December of last year.
