Bronze Medal for Elodie Hijar from "Mon Lasall" Club at the Qatar Open

Elodie Hijar (Mon Lasall Club) won a bronze medal at the Qatar Open Taekwondo Championship held in Doha, which features 809 players from around the world. Elodie, born in 2008, competed in the under 52 kg category and in the age group for those born in 2006, 2007, and 2008, successfully bringing a medal to her club and to Lebanon in this significant international competition. It is worth noting that her older sister, Zawie Hijar, born in 2006 and who won a bronze medal at the Asian Championship in 2019, also participated in the same tournament in the under 49 kg category. The bronze medal for "Mon Lasall" Club reflects the remarkable results achieved by Lebanese taekwondo at an international level, under the leadership of the federation president, Dr. Habib Zreifeh, regarding the national teams and clubs.
