A cargo plane carrying medical aid from Egypt landed at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut earlier today. It also transported a military medical team to replace the current team at the Egyptian Medical Center in Beirut. The plane was received at the airport by the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee, General Mohammed Khair, the military attache at the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut, Brigadier Ahmed Hosni, his assistant Major Hassan Mohammed, administrative assistant Saad Issa, and officials from the Higher Relief Committee. General Khair expressed his gratitude to the sister Republic of Egypt, the embassy staff, and the medical center for their assistance and previous support, commending the role the hospital plays in providing healthcare for the residents of Beirut and all Lebanese, especially given the presence of a specialized and effective Egyptian medical team.
