Tornado Strikes Mississippi: Casualties Reported

Twenty-three people have been killed and dozens injured during a tornado and severe thunderstorms that struck the state of Mississippi on Friday evening, causing damage over an area extending more than 160 kilometers, according to the state's emergency management agency. The agency reported on its social media that there are four missing individuals, and search and rescue teams are combing through debris in search of survivors after the storm hit the town of Silver City in the western part of the state.
