Oleh Kiper, the governor of the Ukrainian city of Odessa, stated on Monday that at least three people were injured in an overnight attack by Russia on the coastal city overlooking the Black Sea. The governor added on the "Telegram" app: "As a result of the enemy attack in Odessa, several fires broke out due to falling rocket debris." He continued, "The blast wave shattered windows of buildings." Reuters was unable to verify the report from independent sources. No comment has been made yet by Russia. Odessa, Ukraine's largest port and naval base, has faced repeated attacks by missiles and drones since Russia withdrew in July from an agreement that allowed grain shipments from Ukrainian ports.
