Martinez Out for Extended Period After Setback

Manchester United confirmed on Friday that defender Lisandro Martinez will be out for an extended period following a setback with his foot injury that he has been dealing with since April. The English club stated: "The Argentine defender suffered a setback in our match against Arsenal in the Premier League earlier this month." They added: "Martinez continued to play bravely in the following two matches against Brighton and Bayern Munich, but now needs to take time off to recover and rehabilitate; the evaluation will determine the next steps." Defender Sergio Reguilon will also miss the match against Crystal Palace tomorrow due to a minor injury.
