Assassination of a Party Official in the City of Nawa in Daraa Countryside

A member of the leadership of the Nawa branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party in southern Syria's Daraa countryside was killed by terrorists while on his way to work in the city of Nawa. SANA reported that the Secretary of the Daraa Branch of the Ba'ath Party, Hussein Al-Rifai, stated that "terrorists targeted Abdel-Ilah Al-Fadhil this morning while he was heading to work with several gunshots, which led to his immediate death. His body has been transferred to Nawa National Hospital pending burial." Yesterday, terrorists attempted to assassinate the director of the Sa'sa' subdistrict in rural Damascus by detonating an explosive device planted in his car in the village of Hina, which is part of the Qatana area.
