Protests in Beirut and the Southern Suburbs... Condemning the Insult to the Quran

Calm prevails around the Swedish embassy in Lebanon, where security measures have been strengthened and members of the rapid intervention unit and the internal security forces have been deployed in preparation for the anticipated protests condemning the disrespect shown to the Holy Quran in Sweden. Protest gatherings were organized in front of mosques in Beirut, the southern suburbs, and other areas to denounce the insult to the Quran in Sweden.
