The French Ligue 1 announced last night that "Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain, has been suspended for two matches due to his obvious roughness during a clash that led to his red card in the match that ended with his team winning 2-0 at Le Havre last Sunday." The Italian international goalkeeper was sent off in the tenth minute after a reckless challenge on Le Havre's José Kazimier in an unsuccessful attempt to clear the ball from his penalty area. Due to this suspension, Donnarumma will miss the champion's next two league matches against Nantes and Lille, but he will be able to participate in his team's UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund in Germany next Wednesday.
