Official Turkish media reported that the police arrested about 90 people across 18 provinces on Monday, suspected of connections to the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The arrests, which were concentrated in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa, followed the PKK's claim of responsibility for an attack that occurred on Sunday in Ankara.
