The National Media Authority in Egypt announced today, Sunday, that "broadcaster Faiza Wasef has passed away after a battle with illness." Several journalists, writers, and artists, including journalist Mahmoud Saad, writer Yousri Al-Fakharani, and screenwriter Abdel Rahim Kamal, mourned her on social media.
It is noteworthy that the late Faiza Wasef graduated from the Faculty of Arts with a degree in Psychology from Cairo University. She also obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts before joining the Voice of the Arabs radio station in 1963, later moving to television.
For nearly 36 years, she hosted the program "My Life," which addressed various social issues sent in by viewers through mail, dramatized by actors, before being discussed by thinkers, religious leaders, psychologists, and legal experts.
