Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, sent a message of condolence to the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, expressing his "deep sorrow for the great calamity and tragedy that has befallen our brotherly Libya." Bou Habib extended his heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister Dbeibeh, the Libyan government, people, and institutions for the victims of the devastating hurricanes and significant floods that swept through Libya, claiming lives and causing material damage. In his condolence message, Bou Habib "asked the Almighty God to embrace the victims in His vast mercy, to hasten the healing of the wounded, to clarify the fate of the missing, and to grant the dear Libya, its government and people, the strength and patience to address the catastrophic effects of the disaster that has struck it."
