Basil Meets with the French Ambassador

Today, Monday, Jibran Basil, the head of the "Free Patriotic Movement," received the new French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, in the presence of MP Nada Boustani and a French diplomatic delegation. The introductory visit included a detailed discussion of the political situation, specifically the presidential election file, ahead of the arrival of the French presidential envoy, Jean-Yves Le Drian, to Beirut, and his scheduled meeting tomorrow with the head of the movement. Magro was also informed by MP Basil about the comprehensive approach of the Free Patriotic Movement regarding the presidential election file.
