Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Boy in West Bank

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that "Israeli forces killed a Palestinian boy in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, while the Israeli army stated that they are "working to verify this." It clarified in a statement that "the deceased is 14 years old." Palestinian media reported that "clashes erupted after Israeli forces stormed a neighborhood in the city." Residents stated that "a group of Palestinian youths threw stones at the forces." Violence has escalated in the West Bank over the past fifteen months amid increasing Israeli raids and attacks carried out by Palestinians in the streets, as well as assaults by Jewish settlers on Palestinian villages.
