Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated on Sunday that Russia is fully meeting its commitments regarding oil production cuts, following a meeting of the OPEC+ alliance of major producers. In an interview with Russia 24 television, he said, "The total cuts of the alliance amount to 3.66 million barrels per day to ensure stability in the oil market. This is the indicator (interest rate decisions) that affects investments and demand for oil and oil products." The alliance, which includes member countries of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies led by Russia, decided on Sunday to reduce the total production target for 2024 by an additional 1.4 million barrels per day.
