Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani stated on Monday during a press conference that "his country may conduct a prisoner exchange with the United States soon if Washington shows goodwill." Kanaani said, "Regarding the issue of prisoner exchange with the United States, negotiations are ongoing through intermediaries. If the other party shows the same seriousness and goodwill, it could happen in the near future."
