Syrian artist Osama Al-Romani passed away today, Monday, in Damascus, at the age of 81, according to the Syrian News Agency. The Syrian Ministry of Information and many Syrian artists mourned him. The deceased was among the founders of the Syrian National Theatre in the early 1960s, and some of his most famous theatrical roles include his participation in the plays "Day'at Tishreen" and "Ghorba" alongside his companion, Syrian artist Dureid Lahham. He portrayed the late Syrian President Adeeb Al-Shishkli in the second and third seasons of the series "Hammam Al-Qishani" under the direction of his late brother, artist and director Hani Al-Romani.
