100 Injured in Fire at Golf Equipment Factory in Taiwan

The Taiwan government announced that one person has died and ten are missing due to a fire and explosion today, Friday, at a golf equipment factory in the south of the country. The fire department reported that the blaze broke out in a factory located in an industrial area of Pingtung County. The department added that the confirmed fatality is a firefighter, and three firefighters are among the ten missing. Additionally, approximately 100 people were injured and taken to the hospital.
