Kahale Municipality: Investigation is Necessary for Justice

The Kahale Municipality issued a statement following a meeting held yesterday regarding the incident of the truck overturning at the Kahale bend and the subsequent repercussions and developments. They emphasized that "the investigation should not commence by questioning the unarmed individuals present at the time, who are residents of Kahale, instead of focusing on the armed group that opened fire on them to intimidate them. This is what the martyr Fadi Baichani tried to prevent, who fell victim to the gunfire of the armed civilians, as the evidence is clear by sound and image." The municipality stated that "the investigation is necessary for justice; however, it must begin from a different place so that the aggressor is not equated with the aggrieved."
