Bouchkian Visits Army Commander Aoun: The Army is the Sole Guarantee of Security and Stability

Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Deputy George Bouchkian, visited Army Commander General Joseph Aoun today, Tuesday, to discuss the general situation. Bouchkian praised "General Aoun's efforts and wisdom in leading the military institution, which is the sole guarantee of security and stability on Lebanese territory," announcing his "support for the positions, initiatives, and missions carried out by the army in maintaining security, controlling borders, and preventing the establishment of new camps for displaced persons and refugees." He wished "a speedy recovery to the wounded in the army, which is making every effort to prevent security chaos and cease fighting within the camps."
