Title: Kharazi Emphasizes Presidential Elections Without Foreign Interference

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed Dr. Kamal Kharazi, the head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his accompanying delegation at the second presidential office in Ain al-Tineh, in the presence of the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries. Following this meeting, Kharazi and the delegation met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Dr. Abdullah Bou Habib, where they explored the Iranian-Saudi agreement, recent developments in the nuclear file, and regional conditions. Kharazi emphasized the importance of conducting presidential elections in Lebanon through consensus among the Lebanese without any foreign interference.
