The Turkish Anadolu Agency reported today, Wednesday, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is visiting Turkey, and Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau. The agency stated that Erdogan held a closed trilateral meeting with Abbas and Haniyeh at the Turkish presidential complex. Hamas, in its statement, noted that its leaders reaffirmed in their meeting with Abbas yesterday, Tuesday, that "comprehensive resistance is the most effective way to confront the (Israeli) occupation."
