The General Food Security Authority in Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that it "purchased 710,000 tons of wheat from Saudi producers abroad." It clarified in a statement that "355,000 tons were purchased from the Saudi Agricultural Investment and Animal Production Company (Salk), while the remaining quantity was acquired from Al Rajhi International Investment Company."
