The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, instructed today, Monday, to send urgent humanitarian aid and search and rescue teams to Libya to support its people in facing the effects of the floods caused by heavy rains in the country over the past days.
The President expressed his heartfelt condolences to the leadership, government, and people of Libya for the victims of the floods, praying for mercy for the deceased and for patience and solace for their families, as well as wishing a swift recovery for the injured, according to the Emirates News Agency.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to Libya and its people, and to the families of the victims, wishing a quick recovery for all the injured.
