WHO: We Lost Contact with Teams at Al-Shifa Hospital After Raid

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated today, Wednesday, that the organization has lost contact with the medical teams at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip after Israeli forces began raiding the facility. He added on X platform: "Reports of the military incursion into Al-Shifa Hospital are extremely concerning." He continued, "We have lost contact again with the medical teams at the hospital. We are very worried about their safety and the safety of their patients."
