Kremlin: America's Plan to Give Russian Funds to Ukraine is Illegal

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated today that "the U.S. plan to use confiscated funds from Russian businessmen under sanctions to assist Ukraine is illegal," adding that "Russia will challenge those actions." Peskov mentioned that "some Russian businessmen have already contested similar moves in certain countries where courts ruled them illegal." He also stated: "The United States will be responsible for the 'extremely tragic' consequences of its decision to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium munitions."
