Title: Pharmacists' Syndicate Announces Suspension of Strike

The President of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Lebanon, Joe Saloum, announced in an interview with "Wordna" the suspension of the strike after an agreement was signed between the Pharmacists Syndicate and the Drug Importers Syndicate, ensuring the regular delivery of medicines to pharmacies through a specified mechanism. He indicated that "if the agreement is not signed, we will resume the strike decision." He mentioned that "pharmacies have been suffering from a severe shortage of medications for over two weeks, with irregular deliveries from companies and warehouses due to the significant collapse occurring." He noted in the statement that "despite ongoing efforts to establish a mechanism for pharmacies to receive medications, the severe fluctuations in the exchange rate have prevented this." He emphasized that "there is no solution for each sector individually; the solution must be comprehensive, and we will only reach it through an open-ended strike and comprehensive movements and civil disobedience by all Lebanese."
