Death from Russian Shelling in Kharkiv

Local officials announced that at least four people were killed today, Sunday, in a Russian shelling of a neighborhood in Kharkiv, the largest city in eastern Ukraine. Kharkiv Governor Oleg Synehubov stated that a citizen born in 1999 was killed in the attack, noting that paramedics transferred three men injured by shrapnel to the hospital and treated another on-site. The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported that seven people were injured in the shelling that targeted the Osnovianskyi district located south of the city. Ukraine regained control over a large part of Kharkiv city in September, while Russian forces currently occupy a small strip of land there.
