Hashim Excludes Change in France's Position on Presidential Election

Member of the "Development and Liberation" bloc, MP Qassem Hashim, believes that the reasons behind France's recent position are still unknown, especially following a period of developing relations between Paris and Tehran. In an interview with the "Al-Anbaa" newspaper, Hashim ruled out the possibility that France has changed its stance on the presidential election, pointing out that there are no indications that Paris has altered its position in this regard, and they are awaiting what the coming days will reveal. Hashim hoped that Lebanon would not become a battleground for regional disputes and would not be affected by any new international tensions, as it is in dire need of conducting elections and initiating a recovery process.
