The British government reported that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron expressed their concerns regarding the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip in a phone call on Sunday. A spokesperson for Sunak stated, "The leaders emphasized the importance of providing urgent humanitarian support to Gaza. They agreed to work together on efforts to deliver essential food, fuel, water, and medicine to those in need and to facilitate the departure of foreign nationals." The statement added, "The presidents shared their mutual concern about the risk of escalation in the wider region, particularly in the West Bank."
