The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that the Islamic Republic launched a test biological space capsule using a domestic carrier on Wednesday, as the country continues its plans to send astronauts into space. The announcement comes ten years after Tehran declared that it had sent two living monkeys into space and returned them safely. The report noted that the capsule reached an altitude of 130 kilometers on Wednesday.
