Army Commander Meetings and Cooperation Discussions

The Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun, received the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, in his office in Yarzeh. The discussion focused on ways to support the military institution in light of current circumstances. He also met with the Egyptian Ambassador in Lebanon, Yasser Alawi, accompanied by the military attaché, Brigadier General Ahmed Abdel Maqsoud, where they discussed cooperative relations between the armies of the two countries. Additionally, he received a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the discussions covered the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
