The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that Minister Wang Yi will travel to New York on November 29 to chair a Security Council session addressing the issue between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated, "China hopes that by chairing this meeting, we can play our part in helping to achieve a ceasefire."
