The Chinese Ministry of Finance announced today, Wednesday, that China will allow 98 percent of imported goods from six African countries to enter its consumer market tariff-free, as the country aims to expand its economic influence across the continent. According to a statement, starting from December 25, Angola, Gambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Madagascar, Mali, and Mauritania will be able to sell their products to China, the second-largest economy in the world, without paying tariffs on more than eight thousand different goods.
