The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Al-Makari, revealed during a television interview that television employees received part of their salaries. He stated: "Good news on the night of the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Lebanese Television employees have received part of their dues, and the station will not close as long as I am Minister."
