Malaysian Prime Minister Discusses Elon Musk's Investments in Tesla

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim indicated on Friday that he had a phone call with American billionaire Elon Musk to discuss investments by Tesla, the electric car company, in Malaysia, as well as SpaceX's satellite communications services. Ibrahim stated in a release, "I welcome the company's interest and its decision to invest in Malaysia, and Elon Musk's desire to come to Malaysia." He noted that Tesla's operations in Malaysia are set to begin this year.
